Aliante Station Groundbreaking

Executives from Station Casinos Inc, the Greenspun Corporation and elected officials from the City of North Las Vegas broke ground late-February 2007 on Aliante Station, Southern Nevada’s next luxury locals casino located on 40-acres within the Aliante master-planned community at I-215 and
Aliante Pkwy.

Owners: 50/50 partnership between subsidiaries of Station Casinos, Inc. and the Greenspun Corporation.

Location: Situated on 40 acres of land on the northeast corner of Interstate 215 and Aliante Parkway within the 1,905-acre Aliante master-planned community.

Groundbreaking: February 22, 2007

Projected Completion: Late-2008

Design/architecture: Contemporary desert design using modern shapes and materials, accented with natural materials such as Jerusalem stone, copper, pewter, onyx, wenge wood, and rocky mist marble.

Cost: The current budget is approximately $675million

Projected employment: Approximately 1,700 team members will be hired for various positions throughout the hotel/casino.

Leadership:

  1. Joe Hasson, general manager (previously general manager of Green Valley Ranch Resort)

  2. Carol Thompson, assistant general manager (previously general manager of Barley’s and The Greens)

Phase I property highlights:

Hotel: 202 guest rooms and suites; ranging in size from approximately 400 square feet to more than 1,500 square feet.

Banquet/Meeting space: nearly 14,000 square feet

Six restaurants and a food court including:

  1. Feast Buffet- Freshly prepared food offerings from around the world

  2. Original House of Pancakes

  3. Mexican

  4. Steakhouse- will feature oversized dry-aged prime steaks, signature bone-in meats, and
    fresh fish.

  5. Italian and more

Entertainment

  1. Up to a 700-seat entertainment showroom

  2. 16-screen Regal movie theatre

  3. Center Bar (similar to Green Valley Ranch’s Center Bar)

  4. Arcade

Gaming

  1. Slot/video machines

  2. Traditional table games

  3. Race and Sports Book

  4. High limit table games/slots

  5. Poker Room

Parking

Approximately 5,000 spaces will be offered in a covered parking garage and surface parking

Phase II expansion- to be determined at a future date

  1. Up to 400 rooms

  2. Bingo room

  3. Bowling center

  4. Kids Quest- Supervised child care center for guests
