General Managers Named for Aliante Station

Las Vegas – Gaming veterans Joe Hasson and Carol Thompson have been named vice president/general manager and assistant general manager respectively for Station Casinos’ newest locals’ entertainment destination, Aliante Station, scheduled to open in North Las Vegas on
November 11.

Both Hasson and Thompson are responsible for the overall leadership and operations at Aliante Station including overseeing a staff of 1,200 team members plus tenants, ensuring that the property offers a variety of quality entertainment for the residents of North Las Vegas and for creating and maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

Hasson brings nearly 30 years of expertise in the gaming industry to his role at Aliante Station most recently serving as vice president/general manager for Station Casinos’ Green Valley Ranch resort. Prior to joining Station Casinos, Hasson was with Harrah’s Entertainment in various management capacities for more than 20 years. However, to most people, Hasson has been best known for his role on the popular Discovery Channel reality show, American Casino, which captured life inside Green Valley Ranch resort for three seasons.

Thompson has been part of the Station Casinos family since 2000 having risen through the ranks in human resources, marketing and management, most recently serving as general manager of Barley’s and The Greens. Prior to joining the Company, she worked for Mirage Resorts and MGM Grand. Thompson is actively involved in the community having served as president of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and as a mentor for the school districts PAYBAC program.

The $675 million Aliante Station is located off the 215 and Aliante Pkwy. in North Las Vegas. It will offer 202 hotel guest rooms and suites; six restaurants and a food court to satisfy every taste bud and budget; 14,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and convention space, Regal Cinemas’ 16-screen movie theatre; a 650-seat entertainment concert venue and an array of popular gaming choices including traditional table games, a poker room, a state-of-the-art race and sports book and slot machines.
